Eddie and Polly

It was another thin week for album releases, but I listened to a new band in The Delines, a self-described "retro country" band. The band's latest release was titled "The Imperial." The album reminded me of some of the more soft country of the Eagles, Poco or Pure Prairie League, except not quite as good. I did somewhat enjoy the track "Eddie and Polly." Overall the storytelling was good, but the music lacked a certain listenability.
