You should be sad

Though I feel like a lot of the singles have been out forever, Halsey's album "manic" dropped recently. Singles like "clementine" and "Graveyards" are super catchy and great. She released six singles before the 17-track album came out, which is a bit excessive, but all-in-all the album is pretty awesome. I've listened to it twice so far, and both times I really enjoyed  her most recent single, "You should be sad."

Anywho, enjoy the following album from Jan. 16-23 of girls basketball, Nordic ski and wrestling photos.

Godzilla

Wow. That was all I could think when I heard the song "Godzilla" on Eminem's surprise release "Music to be Murdered By." Overall, the album was pretty good because there was a lot of early shady-esque shock rap mixed with the crazy flow of Eminem. However, that is where the wow of Godzilla comes. It is so fast and crazy that it almost had to be edited or adjusted or sped up. That was my second thought after wow, "Is this real?"

Anyhow, I have a gallery to share with photos from the Granite Ridge Dance Competition, Pierz/Little Falls wrestling and Pierz boys basketball. Enjoy.

Fun

This week I listened to the wonderful new album "Rare" by Selena Gomez. I've always been a fan of her songs, and this album is no different. It is a mature, emotional brand of pop, but also doesn't lose the danceability of her previous bangers. I really liked the song "Fun" among several others. It is a must listen for modern pop fans.

Anywho, I have an album of photos from boys/girls basketball doubleheaders of Swanville and Royalton. Enjoy.

Have a Cigar

Found this little digital, spotify collection of songs by the Foo Fighters called "00999925." It includes some original material, some covers and a sextuplet of live recordings. I really liked it, and especially the cover of "Have a Cigar" from Pink Floyd's repertoire. It was different, but yet recognizable.

Here is a link to the sports gallery, which is a big small with only LF hockey in it.

Up On Cripple Creek

Apparently I missed the 50th anniversary re-release of an iconic album "The Band" a self-titled release by an iconic and innovative Canadian rock outfit. It of course contains the hit songs "Up On Cripple Creek" (one of my personal favs) and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down," but also has a few underrated songs like "Jawbone" and "Look Out Cleveland." It is certainly one that is iconic from one of the best late 1960's bands there was.

Fantasy football is of course done, so I'm just looking forward to the playoffs now. Go Vikes!

Anyway, here are a few photos from Swanville/Royalton boys basketball and Little Falls girls basketball.
