Delete Forever

Caught somewhere in the abyss between the most experimental Radiohead files, and the worst Dub Step you can imagine is the one, the only (and this is the only thing that she has going for her) Grimes. It's unique, but it is also devastatingly bad, is the best way that I can use to describe the latest "album" "Miss Anthropocene, if you can call it an album. More accurately it is a collection of screams and shrieks set to a third-rate beat that someone (probably Elon) bought off a shady website. Of course there is also the track "Delete Forever" which has a lot of "I'm playing in the corner of a packed Starbucks to people who just want to get their damn coffee, but 'hey, would you please buy my CD for $1" vibe to it. I'm not sure if that's worse or better than the rest of the album, but hey, it's different, and that's the best thing I'll ever say about it. Anyone who thinks this is good must be stoned out of their gourd.

Intentions

I mean it is not the worst album I've ever heard, or even really THAT bad, but I am just disappointed after hearing Justin Bieber's "Changes." I was really hoping for something spectacular after the sensational "Purpose." However, I waited five whole years of only getting him as a guest to get this album? It is pretty sad. There were a few flashes, like the song, "Intentions" with Quavo, or parts of the song "E.T.A." However, in general it was a bit sleepy and safe. I need something brilliant, or Bieber is no longer the new prince of pop.

Anyhow, I have a pretty sweet gallery of sports photos to share HERE. Enjoy!

Take the Money and Crawl

That. Was. Not. What. I. Expected. Huh. Well, I just listened to what I was told by Spotify was Green Day's last album, but with the exception of "I Was a Teenage Teenager" (which was terrible) it didn't sound much like a Green Day album at all. I honestly thought I hit something wrong and I was listening to a pop-punk or pop-rock album a la The Struts or We the Kings or something of that nature. I also heard a bit of vibe of Cold War Kids or maybe even an Arctic Monkeys? Also, the song "Graffitia" I thought for sure was a Bowling for Soup song. Now, with all this said, was it good, bad, somewhere in the middle? I'd say somewhere on the good side of the middle. I mean, I probably won't ever listen to it again, but did I enjoy it? Sure. Kudos to Green Day for at least doing something different.

Anyhow, enjoy the wrestling and basketball photos from Jan. 30-Feb. 4.

Honey

Today I listened to the new Kesha album, "High Road," and it was decent. Obviously Kesha is best at releasing club bangers, but after her seriously emotional "Praying" on her last album, I expected a more mature album here, and I just didn't get that. There were a number of groovy and dance-club-worthy songs, such as "Honey" and her single "Raising Hell."

Anyhow, enjoy the photos from the album of sports from Jan. 23-28.
