Famous

I discovered the Kanye West track "Famous" on Spotify this week, and I may or may not have listened to it like 100 times since (I probably have). It is such a sick track. It starts off with a wailing Rhianna, and follows with Kanye throwing it down. The beat is crazy as always. The song is off Kanye's album "The Life of Pablo," which is sadly only available on Tidal. It supposedly has been extremely successful there though, even though tidal is the bastard offshoot of Spotify and other streaming services. If the rest of the album is anything like "Famous," all I can say is dust off your shelf Kanye, the awards will be coming.

Only a couple of pictures to share today, but the count should go up significantly next week, and even more the week after as spring sports start to blossom into their regular seasons.

Dance Off

Much like their first album "The Heist," the sophomore effort of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, "This Unruly Mess I've Made," is a beautiful mesh of silly and serious. The pair once again tackle white privilege, Black Lives Matter and other devisive issues. However, they can also have fun, and the song's 'Brad Pitt's Cousin," and "Dance Off" are both fantastic silly songs.

Anyway, here are the rest of the photos from the winter sports season.

What You Really Mean

One of my favorite '80s bands, the Violent Femmes recently released a new album, "We Can Do Anything." While nothing can match their original music, this album is pretty cool to see how the band has changed, yet stayed the same. My favorite song is "What You Really Mean." The album is a bit kitschy, but fans of the Femmes should enjoy it.

I have a ton of photos to share because I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy with sports, but that means more photos. Since there are 63 photos from Feb. 18-26, I'm just going to put the name of the area athlete being photographed instead of writing a whole cutline. It's just a time saver.
