She's a Rainbow

I certainly increased my listening and appreciation of the Rolling Stones over the past few years, and a nice re-introduction to that was the compilation that the band recently released called "Honk." It includes a number of their hits and some of lesser known singles. I personally like "She's a Rainbow," along with anything that was on "Sticky Fingers."

In fantasy baseball I won 6-4 and remained in second place. I'm doing well this week too, as my team collected an astonishing five stolen bases yesterday.

I don't have too many photos this week as the great snowstorm of April 11-12 threw some wrenches into the early part of my season, but I do have Little Falls track and Royalton softball from April 16. Enjoy.

Fractals

I listened to a very interesting album that came out this week by former Grateful Dead pianist, Bruce Hornsby. His solo effort, "Absolute Zero," was very different from most music that I listen to, however it did not repulse me. It wasn't particularly entertaining either, but at least I didn't toss any cookies or something. Probably the best track was "Fractals" which had a very unique makeup.

The Minnesota Viking schedule came out, and my initial run-through has the Vikings at 9-7. They have a lot of tough road games (KC, Seattle, Chargers), but should still be in the running for a division title in the meager NFC North.

In fantasy baseball news, I went 5-5 losing a couple of categories by one last week. I still remained in second place, and through the first two days of this weeks' matchup, I am beating the third place team in my league 7-2.

Lastly, I have a large number of photos from mostly softball and baseball action in the first week of the season, April 4-9. Enjoy.
