After hearing much bluster about this album, I reviewed "I Am Easy to Find" by The National. Now, I am not the biggest fan of The National to begin with, but this album was not great. It got pretty favorable reviews, including a perfect 100 from AV Club. Are we 100 percent sure we listened to the same album? Because this felt really lazy. Songs like the title track, "Oblivions" and "Where is Her Head" felt a little bland. It was not all bad by any means though, tracks like "Not in Kansas" and "Roman Holiday" were enjoyable, but were certainly not enough to carry the album.
I had another big victory last week in fantasy baseball (8-2) and am now six games clear of my buddy, who is in second place. I am 12.5 ahead of third. I am struggling a little bit this week, as I trail 4-5 after Tueseday's games, but there is lots of matchup left.
I know I haven't done a blog in a while, so I have a TON of photos to share. I'm not going to do all of them, because that would be super overkill, but here are photos from April 26-May 7. It is still a lot, so enjoy!
