Country music is in a state of disarray right now, except for a small sliver of country that has been getting it right. One great example of this slice of country music is Cody Jinks. His recently released, "Lifers" hearkens back to previous decades of country music. The music that country music was built on. I really enjoyed "Big Last Name," because it felt like something that listeners could line dance to. It was a total throwback. He also has a number of great ballads as well, such as "Desert Wind." If only all of country radio was like this, I wouldn't abhor listening to it.
I have a large number of photos from Little Falls Legion sub-state as well as Victory League Division playoffs from July 22. Enjoy.
