Like many teenagers in the mid-2000's I grew up on shows on the CW, especially that quick-witted teenage detective, Veronica Mars. This led to was the discovery of the series' theme song artist, The Dandy Warhols, who have since been a band that I very much fancy.
TDW recently released a new album, "Why You so Crazy," its first release since 2016's Distortland. While this album is better than Distortland, it is nowhere near as good as TDW's older albums like "Welcome to The Monkey House" or even "Odditorium..." I would say that the album is slightly worse than 2013's "Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia," which was a solid effort. The best track was the laid back "Sins Are Forgiven." However, there were also a number of strange, out of place songs and weird country overtones. I wasn't terribly impressed by those.
Anyway, I have a number of photos to share from Jan. 31-Feb. 6. I photographed Royalton/Swanville boys basketball, Upsala/Swanville girls basketball and Nordic ski sections at Camp Ripley. Enjoy.
