Sunday Driver

I had the pleasure of finding out that the Jack White-led band, The Raconteurs, have reformed and are expected to release an album in 2019, which is fantastic news. Even better, they released a pair of singles from the upcoming album (presumably). Both the songs "Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone" are incredible. I really, really, really like Jack White.

In fantasy football news, I unfortunately fell by a mere two points in the championship of my main redraft league. I also lost in the third place match of my other redraft league. I did happen to win the consolation match-up in dynasty, putting me into a fifth place finish in that league. I am in third place in my non-playoff league, with an unlikely chance to move up any higher. All-in-all, it was not too bad a year.

Makeup

Although I didn't know it when I chose the album to listen to, I recently reviewed the self-titled debut of "We The Three" the sibling trio from the 13th season of America's Got Talent. I don't watch AGT, and never heard of these semifinalists, but I'm glad I stumbled on to them. A very talented and good group of singers/musicians, the group's songs are filled with emotions. I really enjoyed many of their songs, including "Makeup" and "Running." The lead singer has a very Shawn Mendes vibe and perhaps a little Ed Sheeran as well. Plus they heavily feature the trumpet (which I play in a rock band), so that is sweet. I mean it is still modern pop, so I don't love it, but as far as it goes, it isn't too shabby.

Anyway, I am on to the finals of my main redraft fantasy football league! I fell in the semis in another league, while in dynasty I managed to win a consolation match-up.
