L.A. Girlz

Its fourth single, "L.A. Girlz," is yet another reason for me to dread the release of Weezer's now-titled "White Album" that is set to be released April 1. Weezer released the typical drivel, another attempt to recreate the magic the band found on its early albums, and occasionally found on albums like "Hurley" and 2014's "Everything Will Be Alright In the End." It hasn't so far.

Here are a collection of photos I took at sporting events from Feb. 11-16. Enjoy.

Pierz junior Matt Tautges passes as Holdingford's Dalton Frink looks on.

Pioneers senior Aaron Weber drives between Frink and Matt Catlin.

Catlin watches as Pierz' Jonny Kasper barrels over Holdingford senior Alex Knapp, Feb. 12.

Weber is guarded by Knapp.

Upsala senior Brandon Wolbeck attempts a shot over Swanville's Troy Evans, Feb. 11.

Cardinals junior Myron Ripplinger tosses a pass over Bulldogs guard Lawrence Mettler.

Upsala guard Parker Barth is surrounded by Carter Loven (No. 5) and Travis Barthel.

The Little Falls bench storms the ice after a double overtime win over Fergus Falls in the section quarterfinals, Feb. 16.

Flyers senior Thomas Miller celebrates after scoring the go-ahead goal.

Emily Beseman of Swanville passes to a teammate with West Central Area defenders Demara Bumgardner (No. 10) and Abby Oberg.

Little Falls' Bryce Dedomines tries to breakup a pass from Tosten Mann (No. 10) to Logan Wentworth.

Little Falls senior Braden Backowski tries to sweep a loose puck past Fergus Falls goaltender Drew Luhning.

Couple frames later.

Ben Sowada looks to backhand past the Otters' Brad Moxness.

The Flyers celebrate with the student section after a goal.

Miller celebrates after the Flyers scored on a power play.

Beseman and senior Ellie Koetter trap West Central Area's Ruthie Holmes.

Beseman drives to the hoop and is fouled by Oberg.

Swanville's Avery Jackson sizes up a jump shot.
