Last Living Souls

Since there were few albums released, and none of the ones I saw struck my fancy, I decided to go into the vault from 10 years ago at this time, when Gorillaz released its most famous album, "Demon Days."
I chose my favorite track from the album, "Last Living Souls," for the timbre of the song. A classic album that is highly listenable and relevant still, the electronic and electric "Demon Days" is 10 years old. Hard to believe.

I have several photos to share from the action this past week, enjoy.

I Can Change

Brandon Flowers' first solo album, "Flamingo" was really good. It was like an extension album of the Flowers-fronted band, The Killers.  I was obsessed with it for most of 2010, and go back to it on occasion. I really hoped that "The Desired Effect," Flowers' latest solo album, would charm me as much. I didn't. It has a few good tracks, but in a first run through, I didn't feel the same. It could grow on me, many albums do, but at first listen, I was disappointed, and I'm a huge Killers fan.

I have about a dozen or so photos to share from recent games. Enjoy.

Awake

"Bush" is in no way an old-school snoop album, like, at all, and it's not the album I've been waiting for, but, it is filled with several dance songs, a few good verses and the fingerprints of Pharrell Williams. That makes it pretty good. The song "Awake" is one of my quick favorites in a first listen.

I have a ton of photos to share this week. Should be a decent amount next week too.
