Thank God for Girls

As soon as I saw the photo that accompanied the latest Weezer single, "Thank God for Girls," I knew the song would be a typical new-Weezer song, in other words—mediocre. The photo for the single is a view from behind Pope Francis meeting with a group of girls, presumably when he recently visited the U.S. And, well... It was just that. Also, I felt like Weezer's latest album, "Everything Will Be Alright In the End," (which was pretty good) came out yesterday (it was actually over a year ago), so why are they already releasing a new single? I hope they aren't rushing out albums. Please come back old Weezer.

Things are looking up in fantasy football, as I won for the second week in a row in my main league. I am now 2-6 and only two games out of a playoff spot. In my other leagues I am 6-2 and 5-3 respectively, so it is looking up. Daily is still a wasteland.

Lots of photos this week. To purchase go to ecmpublishers.smugmug/MorrisonCountyRecord. To see updates of playoff events follow @typhoonater467 on Twitter.

Pierz senior Kolton Eischens goes low and flips Annandale rusher, Widman.

Clever.

I believe this is Pierz' Andrew Dieterle.

Marcus Rick runs ahead of several races on his way to All-CMC honors.

Meyer prepares to haul in the pass.

I'm pretty sure this is Wadman intercepting a pass in front of Meyer.
