This Town

Budding country starlet, Kacey Musgraves, released another depressing, emo-country album today, with the blue "Pageant Material." Themes of small towns, rejection and other sappy country anthems may resonate with some, but the same spark is totally missing compared to her first hit single, "Merry-go-round." She's used up her sappy country quotient.

Incomplete

The Backstreet Boys' final hit, "Incomplete" off of their album "Never Gone" is 10 years old already. The album was released on June 14, 2005. Oh, how the time flies. I am comfortable in the fact that I enjoy and embrace the boy band era, and BSB was and still is top notch.

I have one small opinion to share about the Game of Thrones finale: John Snow is and will stay dead. I've not read the books. All this talk about him coming back to life is just false hope. To quote Eminem "It's just...a feeling I've got."

With more aggressive guitar, but that same Muse bravado, "Drones," the latest album from Muse is a must listen for fans of rock music. My two favorite tracks are "Psycho" and "Defector," both of which were released prior to the full album, which came out today.
